The Nambarrie Run – adventures around the world on a motorcycle

In 1998, Nambarrie was delighted to sponsor award-winning adventurer and journalist Geoff Hill on his epic journey from Belfast to Delhi on a Royal Enfield motorcycle. The journey was described as ‘a death-defying saga of bandits, sheep and the astonishing ability of a motorbike to shake itself to pieces every single day’.

Then, in 2006, Geoff completed The Nambarrie Run II: Chile to Alaska on a Triumph - a 16,500-mile journey along the Pan-American Highway. Along the way, Geoff faced all manner of perils - from baking hot deserts to Peruvian avalanches to Alaskan grizzly bears.

Luckily, he survived to tell the tale, and soon Geoff will be setting off on his travels again with The Nambarrie Run III, This time he's journeying around Australia's Highway Number One, the single longest road in any country.

Once again, Northern Ireland's number one tea is delighted to be supporting Northern Ireland's number one travel writer as he prepares for his most challenging expedition to date.

You'll be able to follow Geoff on his adventures by reading his regular updates, which will be published in a number of national and regional newspapers. In the meantime, you can catch up on Geoff's previous expeditions by reading his entertaining and informative books, ‘Way to Go’ and ‘The Road to Gobblers Knob’.
